My BBQ / Cooking Knives

Knives are something we use all the time and I like many of you I’m guessing are quite particular about my knives, I keep mine in a knife roll and have forbidden anyone else to use them.
Winter Blues

Is Your BBQ Ready for Winter?

There is no doubt that many of us use our barbecues less during the colder months that we do in the warmer months so is your barbecue storage ready?
Pizza Done Properly

We have probably all had some form of shop bought pizza, stuffed crust (who does that?), Chicago style (what’s that about) or just stone baked, even though it’s not baked!!!
Chicken Alabama Style

So the sun is shining, birds are singing and my home brew Italian Pilsner (yes grain to glass) is boiling off so time to consult the BBQ manuals on something different to do with my skin on chicken thighs.
Seasonal Barbecuing

My First Jalapeno Poppers

As an avid watcher of our American cousins cooking in their backyards I have seen quite a few times them cooking a thing called ‘Poppers’.
Fries With That?

I’m always banging on whilst in the shop about not forgetting the simple cooks when barbecuing. We aspire so much to cook that perfect brisket or those tender ribs that we forget that there is nothing wrong with quick cooks on the barbie.
Kamado’ing At The Barbecue Shack

Well today got off to a bad start, the weather was awful, I got wet walking Lenny (my Springer Nutter), the Sunday drivers were out early and I forgot to bring the Silverside in to work to smoke on our demo Kamado, Perfect!
Traegering at The Barbecue Shack

So today (Friday 17th June) we have a live cook going on at The Barbecue Shack, a nice little brisket and around lunchtime some chicken drummers and wings because why not.
