The Cigar Shack

So the latest Shack is coming to The Shack Group in the form of The Cigar Shack. Why are we bringing this Shack into the group I hear you ask. The answer is simple, a few of us still enjoy the peace and calmness that smoking a quality cigar brings yet we do not have anywhere that we can enjoy buying our cigars and cigar accessories, until now.

As always with the Shacks that we bring onboard we will start small yet quality. We will be stocking a few handmade and machine made New World cigars from a local supplier and a British owned brand, Charatan. As a locally owned brand we have decided to start with them. They are Nicaraguan made in Esteli the capital of hand made cigars in Nicaragua.

The Cigar Range

We are bringing in three types of their hand rolled cigars in Robusto (5×52) initially, the Claro, a creamy smooth light smoke with a Connecticut wrapper. The Colorado a light to medium cigar with a more spicy, woody accent in a medium wrapper and the Maduro which has a light to medium strength with a more dark chocolate and earthy spices for a longer darker smoke.

We will also have a range of tubed cigars coming in, tubed tend to be machine made cigars using the off cuts from hand made cigars. The tabaco is the same but the finish is different and as a result they are entry level. We will also have some half corona’s in packs of five for those like myself that like a shorter smoke when doing quick cooks.

Cigar Manufacturers

Alongside Charatan we have a list of New World suppliers that we can get cigars in for people such as AJ Fernandez, Casa Carillo, Drew Estate, La Aurora, My Father, Oliva, Padron and Perdomo to name a few but initially we will only bring them in in box quantities for customers.

Cigar Accessories

We will of course have some cigar cutters, lighters and humidors available alongside our range of cigars and a bit of advice on why might be suitable for you if you are looking to take up the hobby or pastime. We will never say that smoking cigars is a healthy option, you will be drawing smoke into your mouth and an element of nicotine will enter your system, however the mental health benefits of spending 40 minutes to an hour enjoying some conversation or quiet time in my own opinion outweighs any health risks, especially as what we are selling is 100% tobacco with no nasty additives.

Coming October ’26

If this sounds interesting to you give us a week or so to get the new area sorted and we will have these new items in stock and available for you to buy. Apologies if we don’t yet have your favourite cigar in for you to buy one or two at a time but give us time and I’m sure you will, like all our shacks they started off small and grew quite fast!

Oh, we will have a few interesting old and antique humidors to display, they will not be for sale as we will not part with them but they are interesting to see and they will enhance your visit to The Cigar Shack.
